I acquired my first springer in 1977 and have hunted everything from woodcock to snowgeese over these dogs.

I joined the Quebec hunting dog field trial club in 2003.

To train and compete against the best handlers and pro trainers from Canada and the Untied States gives such a thrill, not to mention a constant source of valuable new insights.

Field trials are of special value to breeders for the selection of working strains of gundogs, and to hunters looking for the right type of dog with working ability.

Only about 5% can make it to become field trial dogs and even less become champions, pedigrees are based on these dogs!
